As a special treat for Andy’s birthday (don’t panic, it was about a month ago we’re just a little behind) we visited the aptly named ‘That is Haircut’ salon-cum-broom cupboard down the road. A quick trim turned into a full-on pampering session with ‘facial’ and a surprisingly physical back massage for a room the size of a telephone box. Bella was relegated to a stool on the pavement outside and capturing the moment on film (well, pixels). After Andy was done they asked if ‘Sir also wants haircut?’ Worryingly for Bella this is not the first case of gender confusion on our trip…Maybe somebody ought to start wearing saris.
