It strikes….

We got to Jodhpur in one piece after another buttock-pummeling bus journey, grabbed some food and then got an early night ready for the following day’s camel safari and community homestay in nearby Osiyan. Unfortunately around 4am the following morning Bella’s stomach had other ideas and so the first bout of Delhi Belly began. These would be the only camels we’d see for a few days…
After some dedicated nursing by Andy, which involved a Challenge Annika style romp around Jodhpur searching for Indian Tonic water, the worst had passed. A note here about aforementioned tonic water. It’s not as easy to find as you might think. After 2 hours, three tourist police, two rickshaws and one heritage hotel Annika managed to secure 4 bottles at a hugely inflated price of 56o rupees, more than our hotel room for the night!
