‘Mr Sandman, bring me a dream’

After a false start we managed to reschedule our foray into the desert and are we ever glad that we did. So, the set up was that we were guests of Gemar Singh and his family at their home in a hamlet in the Thar desert near to a place called Osiyan. We stayed in a very comfortable, but basic, guest hut but ate all our meals with the family, usually entertained by Gemar and Meewar's highly-entertaining 4 year old son, Rahoul Singh. Andy’s cabaret and children’s entertaining skills came into full effect, especially with the lack of a common language. But Rahoul Singh easily matched Andy on the comedy-omtre, especially when playing miniature goat herd to their 3 very disobedient goats. It was pure slapstick.
